For video game matters, Capcom did appear as a developer who began to learn to understand what the fans wanted. Almost all of the things they have executed in the past few years are right on target. From restoring the horror taste to Resident Evil 7, bringing the Hunter Monster to the console market, taking off the awesome Resident Evil 2 Remake remix, to the stunning Devil May Cry 5 inaugural trailer. But from the matter of adapting their franchise to the big screen? Bad. The decision to keep giving the Hollywood adaptation to Monster Hunter into the hands of those who mix Resident Evil films in the past was not handled by fans. But Capcom turned out to have other plans with this super-popular monster hunting game.
Capcom surprisingly suddenly announced a new project they called Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild. Not video games, this will be a special 3D animation film that they collaborate with Pure Imagination Studios.
Trying to strengthen the foundation of the Monster Hunter story itself, this animated film will tell the story of a young boy who tries to prove himself as a reliable monster hunter. Ryozo Tsujimoto – producer Monster Hunter says that this project will be aimed at fans and gamers of newcomers. Fans will appreciate the dedication and detail they inject based on the source of the video game material itself, while those who are not familiar with the Monster Hunter franchise will enjoy an epic adventure in a different new world.
In addition to a logo and artwork, no details are shared regarding this 3D animated film. Capcom and Pure Imagination Studios themselves plan to release Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild in 2019. Sounds interesting to you?
